Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s Map Size Compared To The Original

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is much bigger than the first game, but by just how much? Here’s how the maps compare, and how it impacts gameplay.

In these reviews, players are reporting a nostalgic feeling, a desire to keep playing, and a fairly smooth experience, which in itself is impressive considering how game launches typically go these days. Others love that it is challenging and doesn’t hold the player’s hand while being more accessible than the first game. The graphics and performance also seem to be very good, with most users reporting they could run it as intended without having to drop frames.

What Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Improves From The Original

There Have Been Definite Improvements Over The First Game

The punishment system in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is one of the things that has changed the most from the original. It has a lot of consequences that can last for the entirety of the game. Unlike other games where following the law seems like more of a suggestion, or where the consequences are less permanent like in the Red Dead Redemption series, this game has realistic punishments and ones that last.

It has also smoothed out the combat system. The first game was notoriously difficult, and players had to work hard to make it through the end of the game. While combat is still a challenge and there is still a curve to figuring it out, it has been balanced in a way that makes it fun without making it too easy. The game also focuses on various aspects that were previously underdeveloped, such as the blacksmithing system.

In general, the smoothness of the game was also an improvement, as the game’s stability is better than that of the predecessor. Overall, players seem pleased by the improvements and are enjoying the expansion to the story on the original.

There are a lot of reasons to play this game. Number one is just the fact that it is a major game coming out that works with relatively few bugs. It’s a rare sight these days, and just that alone is the motivation for many to try it. It’s got a lot going for it, but that doesn’t mean that it is for everyone.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Has One New Weapon You Should Be Very, Very Excited For

While the guns in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are getting the hype, there’s another new weapon for Henry that should be getting more attention.

The game is still quite difficult, and the learning curve is still high. If you don’t have the desire or patience to manage that, you will likely want to avoid it. Some have complained that there are some plot holes that came from the former game when this one continued Henry’s story, so players who are extremely attached to that story might want to do some research before they play. Those who want a game to be a little easier that can be finished in a relatively short amount of time will want to stay away.

However, for those who are up for the challenge, for those who want a fun, genuine medieval experience, for those who love RPGs, this game can tick all the boxes. It is expansive and players can easily sink a lot of time into it. Then more players can experience Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and see why it is a Game of the Year contender.
