10 Laughably Easy Boss Fights

Resident Evil is famous for many different things. It’s satisfying weapons, likable characters, scare factor, creepy enemies, but another aspect is its boss fights. There are many incredibly hard boss fights in the Resident Evil series, but also quite a lot of easy ones, too, that take virtually no effort to take down.
The bosses can be easy for numerous reasons. The boss fight could be wildly short, doesn’t even require you to fight it at all, can die in one hit, be incredibly simple, or especially weak to a certain weapon. No matter what, you shouldn’t have any trouble against these foes.

Stinger: Resident Evil 0
This Scorpion Won’t Be Giving You A Fatality Any Time Soon
The first boss of a Resident Evil game usually isn’t very difficult, but even considering those fights, Stinger from Resident Evil 0 stands out. You fight this giant scorpion boss in a linear hallway, and there’s a very easy way to kill it. Just equip your Hunting Gun and later on your Handgun, aim downwards, wait for the boss to come right up to you, and shoot it right in the face.
Repeat the process until it’s dead. With this strategy, you can probably take no damage during this boss on the first try, and the arena here is the main reason it’s so easy. If you fought Stinger in a wider area, it would be much tougher, but as is, it’s the easiest boss in the game.

Plant 42: Resident Evil 1 Remake
A Boss Fight You Can Beat With No Weapons
While the 2002 Resident Evil 1 Remake has to be the scariest game in the series, the Plant 42 boss isn’t frightening when considering its easy difficulty. Plant 42 has to be the most fascinating boss in the game, because while you can fight the boss normally, exclusive to Jill’s campaign, you don’t even need to fight it at all.
Before entering the boss arena, Jill can create the V-Jolt in a nearby room. This can be used on Plant 42’s roots in the underground water lab, which will allow Jill to essentially skip the boss entirely. Chris will have to fight Plant 42, but even then, it’s pretty easy, simply shooting the boss upstairs while evading its attacks. The fact that you can skip this boss entirely definitely makes it one of the easiest in the series.

Giant Alligator: Resident Evil 2 Classic
So Easy It Shouldn’t Have Been In The Game At All
Whenever I replay Resident Evil 2 Classic, I’m always baffled by the Giant Alligator boss. It really isn’t even a boss fight. In the sewers section of the game, in both Leon and Claire’s story, you’ll have to fight a Giant Alligator. However, it’s ridiculously quick.
Just back up until you reach the explosive tank, which you’ll have to drop, wait until the Alligator puts the tank in its mouth, then fire one single shot, and it’ll die. Killing the Giant Alligator is so effortless, it makes you wonder why Capcom even put it in the finished game to begin with.

Thanatos: Resident Evil Outbreak
Another One-Shot Kill
Resident Evil Outbreak has to be the most underrated Resident Evil game, and while its final boss is awesome with one of the best music tracks in the series, killing it is a piece of cake. A core dynamic of the final scenario in Outbreak is making Daylight, a cure for the virus gauge.
Not only is it critical to make Daylight with regard to curing yourself, but having a spare Daylight vial on hand is key to beating the final boss. With the Ampule Shooter equipped and loaded in a Daylight vial, you can kill Thanatos in one shot. This makes the final boss a breeze, although it is worth noting that Thanatos comes back in Outbreak File 2 in the Elimination scenarios, and he’s brutally difficult there.

Albinoid Adult: Resident Evil – Code: Veronica
Another Boss You Can Essentially Skip
While Resident Evil – Code: Veronica is brutally difficult to 100% complete, having the hardest A rank in the series, its bosses are pretty easy for the most part. Many of them you can skip outright, without having to kill them, like the Giant Black Widow spider, but the easiest of them all has to be the Albinoid Adult.
Unlike the Giant Black Widow spider, which can be a little tricky to evade, getting the Eagle Plate in the water and getting out right away is very easy to do with minimal damage. Once again, it’s hard to consider this a boss fight at all when it’s this short and easy.

Tyrant: Resident Evil – Code: Veronica
A Boss That’s Way Easier Than It Seems
Putting the Tyrant from Resident Evil – Code: Veronica among the easiest RE bosses may seem odd. The Tyrant stonewalls many players, but it’s not because of the boss itself. It’s due to the fact that you can’t backtrack anymore to get additional supplies, so rookie players who don’t properly manage resources are going to be stuck.
The Tyrant boss itself is the easiest in the game, which you have to fight anyway. As soon as the fight starts, use your three BOW gas rounds from the Grenade Launcher, then switch to your Bowgun. Fire off three arrows, activate the nearby wall panel, and you’re done. It’s such an easy strategy that I didn’t even need a guide for it. It should be clear to anyone that those BOW gas rounds must be saved for a boss fight like this.

Del Lago: Resident Evil 4 Classic
It’ll Be Swimming With The Fishes In No Time
One thing that Resident Evil 4 Remake improved upon from the original was the difficulty, as it was much more consistent in terms of its boss fights. The boss fights in RE4 Classic were great, but many were incredibly easy to a fault, including the first big one: Del Lago. You battle Del Lago exclusively with thrown spears, and it’s very easy, largely due to the small lake you play in.
It’s so easy to get around, compared to the remake, which is much larger and more densely packed, meaning you’ll crash your boat far more often. The hardest part is actually the unexpected ending quick-time-event, which can catch you off-guard, but besides that, this fight is no problem, even on Professional mode.
3
Ramon Salazar: Resident Evil 4 Classic
The Rocket Launcher Problem
Another issue that the Resident Evil 4 Remake fixed was the Rocket Launcher. In the classic game, you could buy a Rocket Launcher for the small price of only 30,000 PTAS, which was absurd. This made many boss fights a breeze, including Ramon Salazar.
Conveniently, as soon as the fight starts, Ramon opens up his little pod, and you can shoot the rocket straight into it and kill him instantly. Who doesn’t do this on their first Professional run? Rocket Launchers are so cheap, there’s no reason not to buy one and use it for this fight. Thankfully, RE4 Remake made Rocket Launchers extremely expensive, so this strategy isn’t nearly as viable.
2
Jack Krauser: Resident Evil 4 Classic
The Knife Problem
While Rocket Launchers are obviously overpowered, it may surprise you how good the Knife is in RE4 Classic for one certain boss. That boss is Jack Krauser. Battling Jack with guns is actually pretty tough, but the Knife, strangely enough, does an absurd amount of damage to him that it can carry you the entire fight.
Putting Jack in a stun-lock loop is actually pretty easy using the Knife, taking him down in no time. Like the other bosses, RE4 Remake nerfed this strategy, because the Knife can now break, which drops the reliability of this tactic by quite a bit.

Eveline: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
More Of A Cinematic Boss Fight
Madhouse mode in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will decimate you like no other, but the final boss, even in the highest mode, is no problem whatsoever. To be frank, it’s more of a cinematic boss, on rails, similar to certain bosses in God of War. After dishing out enough initial damage, the house will break apart, and you must simply shoot it until it’s dead.
With the fight’s on-rails nature, it’s practically impossible for anyone to fail here, as long as you shoot the boss’s head, which isn’t very difficult. At least it ends this Resident Evil game with a bang, and Madhouse mode is difficult enough that this easy finale doesn’t distract from the experience.
