Grammy Winner Rhonda Vincent To Perform In Southern Maryland
PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Grammy Award-winning artist and Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent, known as the “Queen of Bluegrass,” is set to headline the fourth concert in the Southern Maryland Bluegrass at the Elks Series on Sunday, January 5, 2025.
Vincent, accompanied by her acclaimed band The Rage, will bring her signature blend of traditional bluegrass and contemporary sound to the Calvert Elks Lodge in Prince Frederick. The performance marks the first major bluegrass event of 2025 in Southern Maryland.
The multi-award-winning artist has established herself as one of the most prominent figures in bluegrass music, earning recognition for her powerful vocals and masterful instrumentation. Her membership in the Grand Ole Opry, awarded in 2020, solidified her place among country music’s elite performers.
The concert will take place at 2:00 p.m., with doors opening at noon. Attendees can purchase food before the show between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $40 per person on a first-come, first-served basis.
Due to anticipated high attendance, overflow parking will be available at the Harriet E. Brown Community Center, located just before the Elks Lodge at 1015 Dares Beach Road.
