Lexington Park Crash Injures Three Including Pregnant Woman


LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Three people including a pregnant woman required medical evaluation Friday night after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Expedition Drive in Lexington Park. Emergency responders found both vehicles blocking the intersection but determined no occupants were trapped.

The Lexington Park vehicle accident occurred around 9:45 p.m. on October 3, 2025, at the intersection of Three Notch Road and Expedition Drive. According to emergency dispatch records, the two-vehicle collision resulted in three patients requiring medical assessment. A pregnant female was among those needing evaluation following the crash.

Emergency responders arrived to find both vehicles in the intersection with no entrapment situations requiring extrication. Multiple St. Mary’s County emergency units responded including ambulances, along with fire suppression units. According to dispatch, Maryland State Police troopers had also begun route to investigate the collision.

Emergency Medical Services classified the injuries as requiring Basic Life Support level care for all three patients. The presence of a pregnant victim among those injured added urgency to medical assessments and transport decisions. Emergency crews worked systematically to evaluate all patients and determine appropriate hospital destinations.

The cause of the two-vehicle collision at Three Notch Road and Expedition Drive remains under investigation by Maryland State Police. The condition of all three patients including the pregnant woman has not been officially released by hospital authorities.
