SOLOMON’S, Md. – Fire and rescue personnel responded to a house fire in Solomons early this morning, June 23, 2024. The first 911 calls, received at approximately 5:54 a.m., reported a residence on Swaggers Point Road was on fire.
Deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office were the first to arrive on the scene to confirm the address.
Firefighters arrived to find a single-wide trailer fully engulfed in flames. They initiated a defensive operation to knock the fire. All occupants of the trailer were accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
