Orioles complete the 2025 MLB draft

The Baltimore Orioles have completed the 2025 MLB draft. A draft in which the Orioles selected 24 players, 13 pitchers and 11 position players.

The Orioles started the draft by selecting Ike Irish 19th overall, a catcher and outfielder that has some position flexibility. The top of the draft the Orioles went heavy on college position players. Another catcher was selected with the 30th overall pick in Caden Bodine.

The Orioles clearly were going for best available with their first five picks and not worrying about position. Going best available is often the Baltimore Ravens method and has led to a lot of franchise success.

The Orioles now have the task of signing their draft picks, under GM Mike Elias they have had a lot of success doing so.

Here is the Orioles press release with the entire list of picks.
