Ginny & Georgia is a comedy-drama show that follows a mother named Georgia (Brianne Howey) who moves to the fictional town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts with her daughter Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and son Austin (Diesel La Torraca) with the hopes of giving her family a fresh start. At the end of Ginny & Georgia season 2, Georgia is arrested for killing Cynthia Fuller’s (Sabrina Grdevich) husband, Tom (Vincent Legault). While Georgia only murdered Tom because he was in a coma and simply wanted to put him out of his misery, the deed leaves Ginny and Austin with no one to take care of them. A few months after the streamer announced the release date for season 3, the latest news arrives in the form of a trailer for Ginny & Georgia‘s latest outing. The brief teaser puts a heavy emphasis on the drama of season 3, with Georgia’s murder trial taking center stage. Elsewhere, things are heating up between Ginny and Marcus, as the duo go in for a kiss. Ginny tries to move on by enjoying time with her friend group, and the teaser event hints at another flashback sequence showing young Georgia stealing money.

Even though fans have had to wait quite some time to see new episodes, Ginny & Georgia season 3 was officially confirmed in 2023. On top of that, the show was also green-lit for a fourth season before the third had even aired. Since that announcement, more than two years have passed between seasons, but Netflix has finally put the third season on the calendar. Coming as part of the streamer’s stacked 2025 slate, Ginny & Georgia season 3 will debut on June 5, 2025.

Expect The Ensemble To Return
Netflix has not confirmed the full cast for Ginny & Georgia season 3. However, unless any major changes are made soon, all cast members who were not killed off in season 2 will most likely return. Nathan Mitchell, who plays Zion Miller, is particularly keen on returning to season 3 as he states “I’d love to see where things go with Simone. I think it’s always fun when you throw Georgia in the mix there, where you have those three together, and have them navigate this new dynamic that they exist in.” (via Digital Spy).
Another confirmed cast member is Felix Mallard who plays Marcus Baker, and it was Mallard who provided clues about when season 3 would begin filming. Two actors who are always certain to return are Brianne Howey as Georgia and Antonia Gentry as Ginny, the eponymous leads of the series. Without those two, Ginny & Georgia wouldn’t be the same show. The third season also added Ty Doran as Wolfe, a laid-back classmate of Ginny’s, and Noah Lamanna as Tris, a skateboarder and friend of Marcus Baker.
