Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for the second season of Platonic, the hit half-hour comedy starring (and executive produced by) Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne. The 10-episode season kicks off worldwide on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, with a double-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes every Wednesday through October 1.
Back from the minds of Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco—who also directed and co-wrote the show—Season 2 picks up with our favorite platonic besties (Rogen and Byrne) as they navigate the next round of midlife chaos, from career shakeups and complicated relationships to weddings gone sideways. They’re doing their best to support each other—but even the strongest friendships can cause some collateral damage.
Returning cast members include Luke Macfarlane and Carla Gallo, with new guest appearances from Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett, and Milo Manheim.
