Summer Night Festival Brings Music, Food And Fun To Chesapeake Beach Friday, Aug. 15
CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. — The Town of Chesapeake Beach will bring music, food and local flair to Kellam’s Field this Friday, Aug. 15, with its Summer Night Festival from 6 to 8 p.m.
Rock band University Material will headline the evening, performing crowd favorites as guests explore a lineup of local vendors. The roster includes Baked by the Bay Baking Co., Grizzly Mountain Grill, The Novel Bakery, Mully’s Brewery, Ready Set Gymnastics and Disney Inspired Abstract Art, among others.
Families can enjoy carnival-style fun from Goodtime Amusements, colorful balloon art and face painting by Breezy, and hands-on crafts. Food trucks will serve everything from savory bites to sweet treats, offering plenty of flavors to sample before the night winds down.
Town officials say the free event is designed to celebrate summer while showcasing Chesapeake Beach’s small-business community.
