The Agency Renewed for a 2nd Season at Paramount+ With Showtime
The espionage thriller based on the hit French drama Le Bureau des Legendes has been renewed for Season 2 on Paramount + With Showtime, just weeks after its debut and after delivering boffo streaming numbers.
Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios reports that The Agency stands as the most-streamed new series in Showtime history, with 5.1 milion global cross-platform viewers.
The Agency follows Martian (played by two-time Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender), a covert CIA agent who is ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites, and his career, his real identity and his mission are all pitted against his heart; hurling Martian into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage.
The cast also includes Oscar nominee Jeffrey Wright (Westworld), Jodie Turner-Smith (The Last Ship), Katherine Waterston (Perry Mason), John Magaro (The Big Short), Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke (Absentia), Harriet Sansom Harris (Desperate Housewives), India Fowler (The Nevers), Saura Lightfoot-Leon (Masters of the Air), Reza Brojerdi (The Sheikh) and Richard Gere.
